Ms. Li Yuanyuan, General Manager of China Re P&C, was selected as China Insurance Person of the Year for 2014. China Insurance Media (CIM) and Sinoins.com, the hosting side of China Annual Insurance Person Award, unveiled the list of the winners including 12 finalists who were chosen by public voting and professional assessment.
The campaign for China Annual Insurance Person for 2014 was officially launched in June, 2015. Candidates were judged according to the themes of innovation, service, and standardization, which focused on the professional merits and industry profile of the candidates.
On July 20th/ 21st, the list of 51 selected candidates and their stories were published in Sinoins.com, China Insurance News, and its official WeChat platform. The campaign produced the highest voter turnout over the past few years, where more than 124,000 paper ballots and 2,153,000 electronic ballots were collected. On August 28th, China Insurance Media invited the expert panel to evaluate the candidates and select the finalists.
